Information for High School Students
Admission of High School Students
Currently, DSLCC offers a couple of opportunities for High School students. Both Dual Enrollment and Concurrent Enrollment programs are outlined below. In addition, the Jackson River Governor's School (JRGS) may be an option for high School students who are interested in science, technology engineering and math (STEM) courses at an advanced level. More information on JRGS is available here.
Concurrent Enrollment is the enrollment of high school students (including home schooled students) in college credit for which they are not receiving high school credit. It gives students who do not need additional high school credits the ability to begin their college careers early, enjoying the challenge of college courses. Details are available in Student Services or in the high school guidance office.
