With the cost of higher education going up and up, finding a scholarship to assist you in reaching your goals is becoming more and more important.
One tool recommended for finding scholarships to support a specific area of study is FastWeb (fastweb.com). Fastweb is free. Other search engines may charge fees for using their services, but you should never have to pay a fee to find available scholarships. Be sure to pay attention when completing the FastWeb forms that you do not sign up for extra information or services that you will not need.
Other, more local, sources of scholarships are listed below. This is by no means an exhaustive list, be sure to increase your search to include fraternal organizations (Elks, Moose, Kiwanis, etc.), professional organizations, or non-profit organizations in your area.
